Gourmet regional cuisine
Our restaurant invites guests to embark upon a culinary journey of discovery of traditional south-western French cooking, in Rocamadour, at the heart of the Haut-Quercy area in the Lot department.
The restaurant at the Hotel du Château will offer you the chance to discover carefully sourced regional produce, which is expertly prepared to create subtle flavour combinations.
Chef Gilles Labourel offers guests gourmet cuisine using ingredients from the Lot department and the Dordogne valley, both renowned for their gastronomic treasures.
For example, you can savour delicacies such as foie gras, which we use in a variety of dishes with flavoursome accompaniments, such as duck's carpaccio with truffle's oil and smoked foie gras, or squarre and saddle of lamb roasted with garlic and thyme and spring vegetables.
On our menu you will also find other mouth-watering dishes such as roasted lamb with garlic and thyme, the Hotel du Château's special duck confit accompanied by potatoes forestière, or Tournedos of veal rump steak, aligot and reduced juice with sage.
For the perfect end to your meal, discover the famouslocal Rocamadour "AOC" goat's cheese, which is renowned and loved throughout the world.
Our chef gives it a creative twist: try farmhouse Rocamadour and his accompanying salad with roast walnuts, or warm with a walnut crust.
Our dishes, which are both generous and refined, showcase our local produce and are sure to satisfy the taste buds of our most epicurean guests!
